MIL-A 46100

This specification covers high-hardness armor (HHA) plate that is approved for use by the Materials Technology Laboratory. This grade of steel is specified by the Department of the Army and is available for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense. This grade exhibits superior ballistic resistance, formability, weldability, flatness and toughness. The typical Brinell Hardness range is 477-534.
